Comment on Using Your Dominant Eye to Improve Accuracy While Targeting by North Joleen https://www.nationalbowlingacademy.com/post/using-dominant-eye-to-improve-accuracy-bowling/comment-page-1/#comment-1487979 Fri, 12 Apr 2024 16:56:34 +0000 https://www.nationalbowlingacademy.com/?p=264351#comment-1487979 I had to switch to my left hand a couple years ago because I can no longer use my right hand to bowl. I am right eye dominant and have trouble hitting my target. I am pretty comfortable using my left hand now, but targeting is still an issue. I am not sure where to focus, to the right of my target or the left of my target? Any suggestions?

I am also right handed and left eye dominant. I remember reading an article the said our best method is to focus much further down the land than the arrows.

Comment on Trail Leg: Heel and Toe Positioning by William A Josephson https://www.nationalbowlingacademy.com/video/trail-leg-heel-toe-positioning-025354/comment-page-1/#comment-1487906 Wed, 10 Apr 2024 17:43:22 +0000 https://www.nationalbowlingacademy.com/?post_type=product&p=276978#comment-1487906 Is the trail-leg movement different for spares than for strikes? The spare videos show less aggressive leg movement on the spares than for strikes. Strike videos often show the trail ankle pressed to the floor with the toes pointing down the lane. For spares, there appears less leg movement with the toe pointing to the floor or even raised off the floor.

I wonder how the trail leg affects the accuracy of the throw.

Is this referring to my hand-wrist position with upward tilt i.e. 90 degrees like cupping the ball or is it my hand-wrist side position i.e. 9 o’clock position or something else?
