Richard Shockley & Dan Triske
Richard Shockley has been coaching for more than 30 years, working with beginners to the highest level athletes in bowling. Throughout his career, he has served as the former head coach and vice president at the Kegel Training Center, contributing to the development and training of aspiring bowlers. His commitment to excellence is underscored by his role as the Team USA National Team Assistant Coach and his attainment of the USBC Gold Level Coach certification. His achievements as a coach also include being honored as the USBC National Coach of the Year, and he has taken on the responsibility of guiding the next generation of bowlers as the Junior Team USA Head Coach. Beyond national borders, Richard has extended his expertise as the Head Coach for the Qatar National Bowling Team, fostering international success in the realm of bowling.
Growing up in a bowling center owned by his father, a love for the sport developed at an early age for young Dan Triske. Since then, he has become a highly-regarded USBC Certified Silver Level Coach with a spot in the 2016 Bowlers Journal top 100 coaches list. As a dedicated Storm amateur staffer, he coaches bowlers of all ages and skill levels, from youth to PBA Regional Champions. Dan has received recognition, including being named the 2016 and 2018 Minneapolis USBC Youth Coach of the Year and leading the Minnesota Girls High School State Champions to victory. His coaching impact extends nationwide, working with bowlers from New York to California and everywhere in between. With multiple 300 games and 800 series, Dan consistently maintains an impressive average of 225 or higher. Notably, he has coached two USA tournament regional champions, establishing himself as a highly accomplished and influential figure in the bowling community.
