When it comes to preparing for bowling tournaments or competitions, there is so much more to do than just practicing throwing strikes and knocking down pins. In talking with bowling coach Del Warren, the key is to make time for purposeful practice where you’re working on your physical game. At Del’s center, they use a series of drills that focus on each part of the physical game. key components of a purposeful practice include: having a goal, warm-up to a sweat, have a plan for what you’re going to work on that day, and then check with your coach and look for results. In this video, you’ll have a chance to see some of the drills that are done at the Kegel Training Center in preparing for a competition or tournament.
